Philly Improv Theater is the only place in the metro-Philadelphia region to offer classes in sketch comedy writing. Fortunately, we also have connections to the best writer/teachers in country - including former SNL writer Ali Farahnakian. Our sketch offerings consist of a core curriculum in sketch writing and a variety of special workshops and writers groups developed by our staff and instructors - people who have toured extensively around the country, had wildly successful viral videos on the internet, had their comedic writing appear in print, and writen for television.
