Jay Brenner

Greg Maughan Resident Group Performer

Jay  is a founding member of PHIT Resident Group Fletcher, a two-time performer in the competition based improv serial Troika, and a former member of The Ninjas, an independent local longorm group. Z For Effort, his team in the 2007 season of improv-competition Troika, took home a silver medal.

A lawyer by day and a psychology masters degree student by night, Jay took the very first class PHIT ever offered and eventually completed their full training program. He has also trained with such noted improvisers as Mark Sutton, Asaf Ronen and Jill Donnelly.

As an adolescent, Jay performed in translated-to-Hebrew productions of various Broadway musicals at a religious summer camp. He can sing the theme from The Wiz in Hebrew.
