Katie Horahan is an east-coast based stand-up comedian and improviser, performing regularly at PHIT as a member of Resident Group Everything Must Go (EMG for short). She was first introduced to improv at Tomato Patch, a summer theatre camp at Mercer County Community College and continued improvising and acting in high school theatre and Thespian Society at Northern Burlington County.
Katie joined the Stage Monkeys, Hattiesburg's premier improv troupe, while attending University of Southern Mississippi (where she also majored in theatre). During her final two years at Southern Mississippi she also served as director for the troupe. After graduation she was briefly a part of Improv Jam, a Eatontown, NJ troupe. She has workshopped in improv with Morgan Grace Jarrett of New York's UCB Theatre.
In addition to her improv she currently does stand up comedy all over Philly, New Jersy, and New York.
