Kelly Jo Little

Greg Maughan Resident Group Performer

Kelly Jo Little is a member of PHIT Resident Group Activity Book. After moving to the Philly area 2 years ago she is thrilled to be a part of PHIT! Much to her surprise, Kelly Jo is a stay at home, homeschooling mom in the burbs. PHIT gives her the opportunity to be a grown up, kind of.

Kelly Jo has been acting all of her life and was a theatre major a long long time ago. She discovered improv in 1997 in Boulder, CO where she was a member of HeadGames improv company. She also trained with Eric Farone at the Bovine Metropolis Theatre in Denver, CO. At Bovine she did longform with three different Sanscript casts, Sketchers, and also improvised in a show called My Story. Finally, Kelly Jo conceived and directed a longform soap opera called the Young and the Maladjusted.

In addition to improvising, Kelly Jo has written and performed for sketch productions with ACME comedy players, and performed many many scripted plays. Most notably she played the role of Lady M in McBeth - a modern day retelling of the Scottish play by Bill Shakespeare which was nominated for a Denver Critics award for best original play.
