Maggy Keegan

Maggy studied improv and sketch with iO West, The Groundlings and Second City in Hollywood. At iO West she performed regularly with Pretty Bird, Popular Science, Days of Passion (an Improvised Soap Opera), The Dollhouse, Spirit Fingers, and two Mainstage Harold teams (Hullabaloo and Gypsy Lou). She also hosted The Maggy Keegan Variety Hour, which featured singing, dancing and sketches, and Pretty Bird Presents: Two for the Show, an evening of fabulous two person improv. Maggy co-produced the annual Del Close Awards ceremony as well as the Annual Holiday Revue for iO West. She has performed at the Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival, the Del Close Marathon in New York, The Vancouver Improv Festival, the Philadelphia Improv Festival, the Austin Improv Festival, the Charleston Comedy Festival, NCAAF, and the Chicago Improv Festival. In Philadelphia, Maggy serves the Artistic Director for Figment Theater. She is also the director of Davenger, a PHIT house team that recently won Best New Act at the 2012 WitOut Awards. She plays with Jason Grimley in a duo called Whisper, with Kristen Finger and Alli Soowal in a quartet named Wisdom Teeth, and with Emily Davis in Jem!
