Matt Akana is a member of PHIT House Team ZaoGao. Matt is the looming awkward presence in the room. A West Coast transplant way in over his head, he is in Philly to master himself a few more degrees. He performs improv to further his understanding of what it is to be “human”. Matt was a founding member of hoboFish Improv in San Francisco, he is also a member of Rintersplit and the N Crowd in Philadelphia. He has performed in exotic locations such as Quakertown, Harrisburg, and Richmond, VA. When not performing, Matt engages in a little bit of pharmacogenomic research.
