Michael lives in New York City by way of Philadelphia where he studied acting at The Actors' Center and was the original creator of Improv Sunday at Fergie's - the first regular monthly longform improv show in the city. He was also Co-Founder and Producer of the first Philadelphia Improv Festival (PHIF).
Michael has performed with PHIT Affiliate Group Industrial, Hypnotoad and has been a guest performer with The N Crowd among others. After moving to New York in 2006, he was cast in one of Magnet Theater's Resident ensembles, where he has been a part of Improv groups/shows Milk Milk McGinty, Viceroy, Dynasty, Failed Family Sitcom, Self Image and sketch shows You Your World and You, Greg Wilker and Kelly Buttermore Can't Read, Hello Christmas!, and Steve Horak's Bigtime Show. Michael currently performs with Magnet Theater's The Imposters, 30,000 Khz of Sound at The PIT and the independent duo Mickey and Sandy.
Michael has studied with Armando Diaz, Rachel Hamilton (30 Rock), Mike Myers (SNL), Ari Voukydis, Alex Marino, Megan Gray, Billy Merritt, Matt Holmes, Zach Woods, Mark Grenier and many more.
