A Nightmare on Jawn Street: A Horror Sketch Comedy Show is holding auditions! Do you like scary movies and sketch comedy? Can you act? We’re looking for you! If you’ve dreamed of playing a zombie, machete wielding maniac, demon possessed human, gggghost or any other types of monster and supernatural beast then this is the show for you. Read through the below info, fill in the audition request form, sign away your soul, and we’ll see you on Saturday, September 28th!
DATE: Saturday, September 28th
TIME: 11am -4:30pm (Auditions originally scheduled 12pm – 3pm, but extended due to so many awesome people interested!)
LOCATION: Philly Improv Theater, 2030 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 (Main Stage)
REHEARSAL & SHOW DATES: Listed in below form
WHAT TO PREPARE: You will be assigned a 10 minute block within one of the half hour blocks you choose. Please choose more than one block as slots may fill up. A one minute dramatic monologue and a one minute comedic monologue are suggested, but not required. Your 10 minutes is yours to spend how you wish, but should show off your acting chops and and any other talents you feel would be useful in the show (singing, characters, dancing, etc).
COMPENSATION: This is an unpaid performance (Potential for a small amount exists, but is dependent on the success of the run).
