A couple weeks back we held auditions for various improv projects. We saw over one hundred people and had a very tough time nailing down the casts for the various shows. There was so much talent. One of those projects we were auditioning for was new voices for our musical improv show Thank You, Places: An Improvised Musical. We cast three great people, but again, there was so much talent still out there. For that reason we are happy to announce that we are casting a second musical improv team!
We are also excited to announce this new team will be directed by Dave Sucharski! Dave helped create Thank You, Places and over up until November was instrumental in making it the powerhouse show that it is. This new team is in great hands with Dave. And speaking of hands the amazing Kevin Mucchetti will be accompanying on piano. This team will be focused more on scenes and not so much an overall narrative and will perform on Wednesday nights.
This audition will be one large group in various configurations over the course of the time allotted. When you register to audition you should be available for the full 3 hours. As a result this audition has a max capacity and audition acceptance will be based on your performance history.
DAY: Sunday, January 12th, 2020
TIME: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Philly Improv Theater, 2030 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, Main Stage, 1st Floor
CALLBACKS: This project will not have callbacks. The show will be cast out of the pool at auditions.
