Philly Improv Theater debuted our first family friendly improv show, Finders Keepers, just over a year ago. In that time the show has entertained children from all over Philadelphia. The current cast and show director Joe Tuzzi have done an amazing job in helping create a safe space for kids and families to come and laugh weekly at PHIT. Now we are looking to build on that success with auditions for a new Family Friendly show to debut this summer! This show will begin with improv, but the plan is to start to introduce more of a variety of programming as the show goes on.
Auditions will be held at Philly Improv Theater on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. – 5: 00 p.m. To request an audition time please fill out the below form. To be eligible to audition you must have completed Improv 401, be currently enrolled in Improv 401, or have the permission of the Improv Producer. You must also be able to commit to weekly practices on Mondays 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. and weekly shows on Saturdays at 12:00 p.m. Prior experience working with / performing for children is not required but is definitely a plus. To be considered for special permission to audition please fill out the below form and be sure to fully detail all of you prior experience. If approved you will be emailed with an audition time.
Directing this new show will be the fantastic Kayleigh Liggitt (Hoffman / Oculum). Kayleigh has been performing at PHIT for years and we are super excited to see what she brings to this new show. Thank you for your interest in auditioning and we can’t wait to see you!
