An Introduction To Acting
In PHIT's acting classes students develop fundamental acting skills for performance. Students study script analysis, and also learn concepts like acting from action, objectives, and tactics. Finally, the last weeks of class focus on an exploration of two contrasting acting monologues. After class ends, students take part in a demonstration for family and friends. Finally, students are encouraged to see theater performances in Philadelphia and discuss them in class.
