Once More, with Feeling is the only episode of the supernatural drama television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer performed as a musical. This performance is a live, staged version of this episode. Once More, with Feeling explores changes in the relationships of the characters. A demon compels the people of Sunnydale to break into song at random moments to express hidden truths. Once the characters have revealed their truths and face the consequences of hearing each other’s secrets, they are challenged to “say you’re happy now, once more, with feeling.”
The cast of Philly Improv Theatre’s musical improv team have recently joined a mysterious organization called “The PHIT-night Society,” a secret and selective group of friends who gather together in an abandoned theatre. Together they create a completely improvised spooky and halloween themed musical. Demons, curses, haunted houses, ghosts, witches, or vampires… every night the audience will decide what story gets submitted for approval before going on a musical adventure never seen before and never to be seen again.
