IMPROV 201

INTERMEDIATE IMPROV

In 201, students delve deeper into the improv skills to which they were previously introduced and receive more targeted exercises and notes. Students will explore the concepts of character, relationship, and environment and work these specifically in scenes. They will begin to learn how to recognize and build on patterns, and learn elements of story structure to advance their scenes. In this class we begin to place a stronger emphasis on performance skills (physicality, voice, staging) in improvised scenes, and introduce 3 person scenes.

8 WEEK CLASSES INCLUDE: A student pass for FREE ADMISSION to Thursday night Harold shows, FREE  Improv Practice Groups, $10 student admission to other PHIT shows (some restrictions may apply),  a graduation show for family and friends!
