NEW IMPROV TEAM AUDITIONS APRIL 21ST!

Spring is upon us which means it’s time to announce our next round of Wednesday improv house team auditions! Auditions for these two new teams will take place on April 21st. The two teams cast will perform every Wednesday night here at PHIT debuting in July and running through December. These teams will have weekly practices guided by the fantastic Sarah Clemency and awesome Emma Needleman!

Sarah Clemency started taking classes at PHIT in 2014 and has since graced the stage with house teams Fjord and Overlook. She can also be seen at PHIT performing with Core, Long Story Short, Finders Keepers and around town with StoryUp! and her musical comedy duo Kathryn and Sarah,. Sarah teaches for PHIT Kids and Teens and has coached various indie improv teams.  “I love improv and am excited to work with other brilliant people who also love improv”
Emma Needleman performs with PHIT house team Hooch and veteran PHIT team Metropolis, as well as the independent groups HOTLINE and Grand Forks. She also coaches indie teams in Philadelphia. Emma loves the Harold and can’t wait to see the diverse talent of the Training Center students in action.
We are super excited to have both of these fantastic performers on board and can’t wait to see the teams they put together.
If you are interested in auditioning- GREAT! We ask that anyone auditioning is at least enrolled in Improv 401 or has the permission of the Improv Producer (Kristen Schier). If you are seeking an exception to the Improv 401 prerequisite please fill out the form and be sure to fully detail your prior experience. If you want to know all the ins and outs of the audition and process you can click here to read our FAQ sheet. No matter how often we have auditions we are always blown away by how much talent there is here in Philly. We look forward to seeing all of it come through the doors on April 21st. Happy Spring!
