Philly Improv Theater is excited to announce that we will be holding auditions for an holiday themed improv show to debut this fall! This new show will be directed by Andrew Nealis of Untitled and PHIT teams Channel 77 and Overlook. This show is part of a handful of shorter team projects PHIT has produced this year and we are super excited to bring 2018 to a close with this special run. Currently enrolled in or graduate of Improv 401 at Philly Improv Theater or special permission of the artistic director. To request permission to audition if you do not meet the prerequisite please fill out the form below and and indicate you are seeking an exception based on your experience. You will be contacted with a decision.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
Sundays 10am – 12pm starting September 16th through October 28th. Other dates will be added based on cast and space availability.
AUDITION PROCESS
On the day of the audition, people will be seen every 30 minutes in groups of 6 – 8. Auditioners do not need to prepare anything in advance. The audition will be entirely improvised. You will be asked to perform two person scenes, an scene exercise, and possibly a montage of scenes with the group.
WHAT TO BRING AND PREPARE
You do not need to bring anything with you. You will be asked to upload a headshot or recent photo when you fill out the form. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for your audition slot.
PERFORMER EXPENSES AND POTENTIAL COMPENSATION
The cast of this show will be compensated under Phlly Improv Theater’s Performance Payments Policy, which provides potential payments based on the attendance and financial success of each performance. For this run individual cast member will pay $5 per person, per rehearsal directly to the director. Philly Improv Theater will provide rehearsal space at no cost. No actor will be turned away from participation for financial reasons or lack of ability to cover their expenses if offered a spot in the cast. If you are offered a spot in the cast and are unable to cover the performer expenses you can notify PHIT at the time you accept a casting offer and the theater will cover your expenses.
