SEEKING ACTORS FOR ‘SMITTEN’ — PHIT’S 2020 VALENTINE’S DAY SKETCH SHOW

In February Philly Improv Theater will be staging “Smitten” a Valentine’s sketch comedy show directed by Oliver de Luz. We are super excited to announce the writers who will be crafting this show behind the scenes:

Briyana D. Clarel!
Adam Dorn!
Zoe Grobman!
Paul E. Reese!
Ryan Roe!
Eric Shan!
Ross Weisman!
Caroline White!
Griffin Wynne!

As you can see we have the writers, but we’re also going to need actors! Oliver is looking to cast a group of energetic and committed performers with improv and acting experience for Smitten.

Auditions are Sunday, December 8th from 11 AM- 5 PM in Room A.
Actors have 8 minutes to showcase their talents. The whole time does not have to be used.
Actors must prepare a comedic monologue. If you have experience singing, dancing, and/or playing a musical instrument, We highly recommend using a few minutes to highlight those skills as well.

The dates for Smitten, the Valentine’s Day Sketch show are as follows:

Thursday, Feburary 13th at 9:00 p.m.
Friday, Feburary 14th at 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, Feburary 15th at 8:30 p.m.

Writer’s meetings and rehearsals will happen weekly from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m on Thursdays, with some exception (more details on the rehearsal schedule can be found within the submission form.) This project is unpaid, but will be part of the theater’s payment policy which allows for payments. This information will be shared with those selected.

To request an audition time please fill out the below form. This an open call and there is no prerequisite to audition.
