Introduction to Acting: In this class, students will explore basic acting skills fundamental to performance. Some concepts to be examined are action, objectives, tactics, and script analysis. This class will culminate in an exploration and showing of scenes and monologues. Viewing of theatrical performances in Philadelphia followed by a discussion will also be a part of this class.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Tanya Morgan has been performing throughout PA and NY in theatre and film. Tanya has also been training as an actress for many years, at The Walnut Street Theatre, Triangle Theatre, and The Lantern. She has most recently completed an Acting Intensive with Blanka Zizka at The Wilma Theatre and is delighted to share the acting techniques she has learned. She is honored to be teaching her first Acting 201 course at the Philly Improv Theatre. Tanya is currently in a production of Twelfth Knight at The Abington Arts Center.
