Performance Improvisation: Students will continue to build on skills learned in Improv 101 and 201. Students will also begin putting those skills to work within a structured improv format and learn to use the patterns in their scenes to the fullest potential. This level also includes a heavier focus on individual attention from the instructor.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Tia Kemp started improv in 2013 at Seattle’s Unexpected Productions. She has completed two intensive trainings at The Second City, Chicago under Tim Soszko, Susan Messing and Rachael Mason. Since moving to Philadelphia, Tia has performed with two house teams at PHIT, Jillroy and (in space). Currently, Tia is directing her first house team, performs with American Express Comedy and teaches an improv class for international students at UArts. In her free time, Tia loves spending time with friends, dancing, listening to music and trying not to cry while watching This is Us.
