Next to learning and watching, the best way to get better at improv is through practice. Designed as a supplement to a class (not a replacement), Improv 301 practice groups line up with the PHIT Improv 301 curriculum – reinforcing the ideas taught in your class the previous week and exposing you to a variety of instructors from PHIT’s staff throughout each session. Each practice group includes warm-ups and scenework exercises that aim to strengthen and work the core improv concepts laid out in our Intro to Improvised Scenework class. Improv 301 practice groups are open to current Improv 101 students, as well as graduates of Improv 301.
Prerequisite: Currently enrolled in Improv 301 or Graduate of PHIT Improv 301
