A chance to meet the teachers and experience a sampling of exercises from the Beginner Improv Skills class! While your child is having fun, parents and guardians may meet with staff from PHIT’s Training Center over coffee, juice, donuts, and bagels to learn more information about the program at PHIT and how to sign up.

Beginner Improv Skills students will learn a combination of storytelling, theatrical, and improv comedy skills with a core focus on improvised scene work. Through a series of fun and imaginative games and lessons, students will gain skills in listening, cooperation, character, environments, object work, and thinking on their feet. The course will culminate in a class demonstration by the students of an improvised play, using a story outline filled in by the students.
