A chance to meet the teachers and experience a sampling of exercises from the Intermediate Improv Skills class! While your child is having fun, parents and guardians may meet with staff from PHIT’s Training Center over coffee, juice, donuts, and bagels to learn more information about the program at PHIT and how to sign up.
Intermediate Improv Skills students will develop (or in the case of returning students extend) their foundations in comedic improvisation as they prepare for our middle school courses’ focus on short-form improv. Through a series of fun and imaginative classes, students will learn and improve skills like listening, collaboration, and character exploration. They will also learn the golden rule of “Yes, and…” as it applies to creating an improvised scene through agreement.
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
