Joe Tuzzi & Kristopher Hodge
Joe is from Norristown, PA, and is a very proud member of PHIT House Team This is Your Captain. He is also a member of the indie sketch group Corn Teeth and the indie improv team Bill Parks, who happen to host Philadelphia’s newest place for independent and experimental comedy, known simply as “The Brewery”. Joe began his improv journey way back in the year 2013 when he began to study improv at PHIT under Alex Gross, Mike Marbach, and Steve Kleindedler. Joe has also taken sketch classes at PHIT under Brian Kelly and Paul Triggiani. If you ever see Joe in person, you should ask about the “Alligator Incident” or just say hi or bake him a pie because pie is nice.
What PARENTS AND STUDENTS SAY ABOUT JOE
“Joe was so relatable to the kids which made my son more comfortable and free to be creative.”
Kristofer Hodge is a member of PHIT house team Swan Year, family-friendly show Finders Keepers and sketch team Fezziwig. When not gracing PHIT’s stage, you can find Kris performing throughout Philadelphia on his independent improv teams ToadPool and 50/50. You can also see Kris performing in StoryUp!, an interactive, improvised children’s show for children from preschool through teens. Kris has worked as a CCD teacher and swim coach, and is thrilled to be joining PHIT Kids & Teens as a teaching assistant. Kris has studied improv at the Philly Improv Theater under Fred Brown, Kristen Schier, Mike Marbach, and Nick Gillette. When not doing improv, Kris can be found eating all of the free samples of cheese at Di Bruno Bros. that they will allow him to try before they realize he isn’t going to buy any.
