Beginner Long-Form Improv Camp: This camp is for highschoolers who are new to improv or particularly long-form improv. In this weeklong intensive, students will be introduced to the art of long-form improvisation by working with the key concept of “Yes, and…”. They will learn fundamental improv skills like: listening, creating characters, establishing relationships, and exploring scenes with objects and environment work. Students will then combine these skills to create fully improvised scenes with a partner and discover how scenes can naturally grow through agreement and support. The camp will culminate in a live, fully improvised performance for families and invited guests.
