Intermediate Long-Form Improv Camp: This camp is for highschoolers who already have some experience with long-form improv. In this weeklong intensive, students will refine and deepen skills initially taught in our beginner long-form classes or camp: listening, creating characters, and establishing relationships. Students will gain a deeper structural understanding and intuitive ability to create dynamic, engaging improvised scenes with partners. The instructor will provide ongoing feedback and support in an environment of both fun and challenge. The camp will culminate in a live, fully improvised performance for families and invited guests.
Prerequisites: Completion of two sessions of Beginner Long-Form Improv at Philly Improv Theater, or completion of the Beginner Long-Form Improv Camp.
Dates: 7/29, 7/30, 7/31, 8/1, 8/2
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. each day, except 8/2 (see below). Optional before care (from 8:00 a.m.) and after care (until 6:00 p.m.) offered.
Class Demonstration: Friday, August 2nd, 2019 @ 5:00 p.m.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

WHAT PARENTS SAY ABOUT SAM
“My son has not been a big participant in formal activities such as sports or school clubs because he never feels like he fits in with those. But with this he felt like he found his people, his tribe. Every week he had a great time, and that’s a testament to how good you guys are. Thanks Sam!”
“Sam was great! This class really gave my child an exciting new outlet, new skills, and new confidence!”
