A chance to meet the teachers and experience a sampling of exercises from the Improvised Play class! While your child is having fun, parents and guardians may meet with staff from PHIT’s Training Center over coffee, juice, donuts, and bagels to learn more information about the program at PHIT and how to sign up.
Improvised Play students will learn improv basics and storytelling skills through age-appropriate, imaginative games and lessons. They will engage with improv essentials such as character, voice, use of body, agreement and listening. Throughout the course, students will devise stories of their own creation. On their final class demonstration day, they will share with their families some of their favorite games and will improvise some of their original stories.
