GRADES 9-12 FREE OPEN HOUSE – 3/12/2020

$0

A chance to meet the teachers and experience a sampling of exercises from the Long-Form Improv class! While your teen is having fun, parents and guardians may meet with staff from PHIT’s Training Center over snacks to learn more information about the program at PHIT and how to sign up.

In Long-Form Improv class students will practice the art of long-form improvisation by learning the key concept of “Yes, and..”. They will also learn important improv skills like: listening, creating characters, establishing relationships, exploring scenes with objects, and environment work. Integrating more advanced concepts, students will then combine these skills to create fully improvised scenes with a partner and discover how scenes can grow through agreement and support.
