WE THE PEOPLE IMPROV FESTIVAL
Philly Improv Theater’s We The People Improv Festival is the main improv festival for the City of Philadelphia. The fest is dedicated to showcasing the diversity of improv talent from across the nation and around the globe, while also highlighting the diversity and talent of our beautiful city to our guest artists and all those in attendance. Our producing team and Philly’s improv scene are excited to come together under one roof for a weekend celebrating excellence in improvisational comedy, and the camaraderie of the worldwide improv community. We The People has your back and we can’t wait to laugh with you!
One of our most attributable characteristics, told to us by strangers, is that we look like we’re having fun on stage. We keep our humor high-brow, silly, and absent of any mansplanations. Come check out the two-time winning VS champions! Reputable Source is: Ryan Hendrikson, Nicky Knepp, Jessica Marpe, Andrew Rubin, Mat Siebers, and Rob Whipple.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Public Transportation: The following bus routes all stop within 1 block of our theater: 9, 12, 17, 21, 42. All trolley routes stop approximately 3 blocks from the theater at 22nd and Market or 19th and Market. The closest subway stop – approximately 10-15 minutes walk from the theater through beautiful Center City is 15th Street on the Blue Line or City Hall on the Orange Line. The closest regional rail stop is Suburban Station, which is also approximately 10-15 minutes walk through Center City.
Parking: Street parking is available in the neighborhood around the theater, but can be hard to find in the evening. There are several parking garages conveniently located on Sansom Street right next to the theater, as well as multiple parking lots around 20th and Sansom. There is limited street parking available in the neighborhood of the theater – if you intend to park on the street we suggest allowing 15-20 minutes to find a spot!
